* ORIGINS.
the " offspring " of lucas rovas & catarina hilst, two operatives of the mutant supremacist organization known as cobalt, raised in patras, greece. heléne is a technopathic and cyberpathic mutant. heléne is not aware of her ture parentage, being adopted as a baby.at age 7, both of her parents are killed in combat and she's left to her grandparents care, moving to astoria, new york, usa as a safety measure. her mutant abilities would manifest at 15 and, barely a week after, she'd get an offer to join the Massachusetts Academy but, before she could accept the offer, heléne would be taken by cobalt and mind-controlled into joining & assimilating to their ideals.during her time at the cobalt, heléne gained the "envy" title, as the leader of the organization ── ludwig porada ── managed to gain control of heléne by using her envy towards others and exploiting it. along with the rigorous training, heléne was subjected to constant experimentation by mutant geneticist johanna graves, who went on to publish a thorough study of the x-gene due to her work at cobalt. the experimentations developed secondary mutations, such as organic steel skin, ferrokinesis & mild telepathy.from age 15 to age 20, heléne stays with the cobalt and acts as one of their agents, carrying out the message of mutant supremacy and human annihilation. those acts draw the attention of the x-men, who manage to take down the organization and rescue all mind-controlled mutants, including heléne. she stays with the x-men for as long as necessary to rebuild and heal her mind, building a close bond with emma frost, who ends up becoming a mentor figure to heléne. the young girl is unaware that the white queen is her biological mother.heléne attempts many times to have a normal life, going as far as attending the massachussetts institute of technology in an engineering bachelor's degree and pursuing academics in that field, gaining her masters and doctorate degrees by age 29. this attempt is not all failure, but she still returns constantly to the x-men's aid ── as well to the aid of other heroes. she learns to accept and cherish the balance as much as she can.

after being rescued by the x-men from cobalt, heléne stays with them long enough for her mind to be put back together and healed enough. during that time, heléne forms a bond with emma frost, who she sees as a mentor figure. she's unsure why they got along so easily, considering ms. frost's reputation among the members of the team.as her mutations were not combat-focused, heléne attempts to lead a normal-ish life, attending university and opening her own business ── an auto shop called rovas auto. the x-men have her number on speed dial whenever they need any kind of tech or mechanic issue.heléne lives in an apartment in astoria, queens, and spends most of her time at her auto shop, where she fixes vehicles of all kinds for very cheap, as well as offering other type of tech-related services.heléne is constantly on watch, knowing cobalt was not fully dismantled all those years ago and that many of its members are still out there and active. currently, she's attempting to decode some of her files from the organization, which have the identity of her biological mother and a biological brother redacted.

a revolution rises and mutants are yet again the enemy of the state after years of relative peace between humans and mutants. a sentinel program reestablished and upgraded with better machines makes sure mutants never get to live normally as they once did.establishing an underground bunker, the x-men try to fight off the sentinel revolution, but end up failing miserably as once again 98% of all mutant population is decimated, emma frost being included in that. the events leave heather shattered, once more the survivor, and with one last fight, she and the remaining x-men destroy and dismantle the regime. mortally wounded after said battle, heather is sent by a higher being called thuone ── the self-proclaimed god of order ── to a different timeline, where none of the events of the sentinel regime ever happened and mutant life thrives once more.being dropped at where the x-mansion used to be, a mostly healed heather tries to find her way through a new universe. absorbing most of historical events from the internet with her technopathy, she manages to find the x-men, but chooses not to reveal her identity just yet. she rebuilds her life in astoria, new york, with a small apartment of her own and a car shop to keep herself busy.
